Our spacious summer kitchen is available for your party or event. Boasting two floors connected with an ornate spiral staircase, the summer kitchen looks out over the grounds on one side, and the swimming pool on the other. The first floor is an open space where you can arrange our tables to your satisfaction. The second floor has a kitchen area, bathroom, karaoke, billiard table and balcony.
Our in-ground swimming pool and hot tub are available for use during your event.

It’s the perfect place for friends and family to gather and celebrate under a tent or pavilion. Should we have inclement weather, you can still dance the night away!
Our brand new gazebo is the jewel in the crown. The perfect place to linger by the pond and chat, or take those special photographs.
Our fine landscaping makes any event one to remember.
Our historic home was built in 1847 by wealthy farmer William Baumgardner. The farmstead included a granary, carriage house, summer kitchen, two barns and a springhouse – not to mention the grand two story brick house, which still stands today.
The farm was added to the National Register of Historic places in 1978 because of its architectural and historic significance.
How to find us
We are conveniently located on State Route 40, between Brandt Pike (201) and Scarff Road (235).
From I-70 take exit 38 for Route 201 north, past Carriage Hill Metropark. Turn right onto Route 40. Cross over Brandt Pike (201), then Palmer Road (177) then find us on the crest of the next hill on the right-hand side.
If you’re coming from the east, you’ll cross Scarff Road (235) then after a mile you’ll see the windmill and house on the crest of a hill on the left-hand side.
GPS can be a little unhelpful in finding our home – you are welcome to call for directions.
